Happy Thanksgiving!

Every year, we celebrate three occasions in the church and it has always been busy every time these are celebrated.  Every December, we don't celebrate Christmas but we celebrate our year-end Thanksgiving and it's usually done either the 2nd or 3rd week.
It has been a very very long (not day but) weekend for me since it started at 3:00am on Saturday and it ended at 5:00pm on Sunday.  It was so exhausting but I never felt tired since I enjoyed our celebration.  It started with a worship service and ended with a small get-together/lunch/party.  There was gift-giving and games which I did not participate because of my post-op foot (Oh, by the way, I tried to wear closed flat shoes but then my foot was swollen after)... but it's all good! Great food and lots of fun!
To all my brothers and sisters in faith, Happy Thanksgiving!

My First Day @ Work (after the surgery)

Ok, so today was my first day at work after my two-month medical leave.  I don't know if I just missed my cube so much or too excited to see my friends because I woke up 45 minutes earlier than my set alarm... Apparently, I had a sort of upset stomach and never returned to bed. Doh!  I was then inclined to think that the upset stomach was due to stress of going back to work.  Haha.
So, anyway, how was my first day?  It has not even ended yet; it's 1:20PM (GMT +8) on my watch now, and I can already say that I got a very bad welcome.  First, two of my friends were on their rest day; Second, our delinquent customer service rep was caught (by me) pressing the wrong Aux; Third, calls were pouring in so bad, and lastly, the supposedly sunny weather became a rainy one.  So much for a welcoming party huh?!
On lunch, my tummy was still not cooperating that I have to stick to a Hotdog Sandwich Meal from a local fast food chain; good thing though I have a pack of my favorite candy, Skittles for "dessert".  Having un brutto momento (a bad time) on the first part of the day, I decided to just chat with my best friend in Plurk for so-so minutes to somehow rest my mind.  Also, instead of doing my dailies, I made myself busy by blog hopping... and later on, blogging. Haha! Oh, however, in between these brutto momentos were things that made me smile about--a surprise call from a friend and a package full of treats!
Now that I'm "recharged" from the "hustle and bustle" of my real world,  I should go back to work.  Ta ta!
So, am I working or not? Notice the Blogger interface :-)

After the scorching heat... was this :-/

And a box full of Bacolod treats! :-D

Date with Myself

My mom always tells me not to watch a movie alone... but I'm just so stubborn, I watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows alone.  And, this was not the first time I saw a movie by myself, it's the nth time!  As expected, the movie was bitin because it's just the first part but I can't help but to look forward to the second part. Oh, and I have to re-read my books because I can't recognize some parts anymore.
Overall, my movie experience was just great! The seats of the theater were new and there was already this place for disabled persons (on wheelchair).  I think, the sound was already SDDS...? Also, I think I made the wrong decision to wear sleeveless blouse and short pants because the movie house was freezing!
After my date with Harry Potter (hehe), I went to my favorite Italian place--Gotti's--for my late lunch.  I just so love eating in this place!  Earlier, I ordered their chicken fingers, spaghetti Bolognese and pizza meal.  The meal also includes a glass of iced tea for only P125!  Oh yeah!  Who says you can't eat cheap Italian food?!  After my sumptuous lunch, I ordered for a Tiramisu flavored gelato.  The gelato, however disappointed me because it was not the "authentic" gelato that I order from Amici or Gelatissimo... It was just a Magnolia-Nestle ice cream :-(  Notice below, I didn't take a photo of it...
My churchmate sent me an SMS yesterday that goes "Try to make at least two persons happy in a day, but make sure that one of them is yourself."... I just did! :-)

PT Session Day 1

Today's my first physical therapy session and it turned out ok.  My therapist Chey is very nice and she explained everything to me.  From the instruments that she used for my foot to the exercises... As in everything!  And I also learned some good news: the cane shall be out by Christmas.  Yey!
Hot compress for my swollen foot
Gel, preparing for the ultrasound
Ultrasound
That was my post-surgery foot.  The hot compress and the ultrasound prepare the foot for exercises (according to my therapist).  Oh and by the way, the rehab therapists just loved my Vibram FiveFingers!  They were asking me where I bought those nice, cool and comfy shoes ;-)

Last Day of the 30 Day Bloggie Challenge

How fast time flies.  Today is the last day of our 30-day blog challenge and now I feel sad.  I never expected that this already became a part of my daily routine and ending it would mean that I'll miss doing it.  I asked my friends to have a repeat of this and they all agreed!  So I guess I shouldn't feel bad at all.
The last challenge was for us to take a photo of ourselves and state three things we learned for the past 30 days. (I just so love my self-portrait because I got the right camera settings!) And for the past 30 days, I learned that there's so much fun in blogging (maybe because I have nothing to do during my leave haha!), that being a bum is so tiring even if I'm not doing strenuous activities (hehe) and that "disabled" persons are not disabled at all because we can still do a lot of things even with our crutches or cane.  I just hope I can already do away with my cane... Soon!

30 Day Bloggie Challenge Day 28

Today's blog challenge is about our favorite movie.  I have watched a lot of good movies which I could consider my favorite.  Love Affair is one, and Up Close and Personal, or Harry Potter series.  But there's only one on top of my list and that is Serendipity.  Serendipity is not just my favorite movie, it is also my favorite word which means finding something valuable or delightful when you are not looking for it.  Or in simpler terms, delightful or happy accident.
This movie is about two people, Sara Thomas (Kate Beckinsale) and Jonathan Trager (my Hollywood celebrity crush John Cusack) who met by accident, both were engaged to be married but they tested their fate by splitting up and seeing if destiny would bring them back together.  It is a romance-comedy film that made me say "Whoa! Can that happen in real life?"  Well, although I think what happened in the movie is less likely to happen in real life, this flick gives me the hope that one day, love will find me... It gives me patience to wait for the right person, at the right time, right place and for the right reason.

30 Day Bloggie Challenge Day 27

These are my photos taken in December of last year and this year... The only difference that I could see in the pictures is the length of my hair.  I'm still medium built and was able to maintain my weight from the previous year.  But, since our hair sometimes change how we look, I look thinner with my hair long.  What do you think?

Lovin' my Vibram!

Last night, I already planned to go to the Power Plant Mall in Rockwell to buy specialized shoes for my "very special foot", haha.  Mom actually did not want me to leave the house because she and her motherly instincts just don't want to.  But then she, my swollen foot and limited mobility did not get in the way of my shopping.  After giving my mom the longest face, she gave in and allowed me to go out provided that our house help would accompany me.  Ok then, fine by me!
After the long agony of walking with my cane and some inconsiderate people who just can not give way to "disabled" persons, I finally bought my own Vibram FiveFingers!  Yey!!! I so wanted to buy this pair of shoes prior to my foot operation but I just didn't have time to go to the shop (it's only available at Power Plant Mall which is very out of the way).  And now, I already had all the reasons like it's for my "special foot" to purchase the shoes so the distance was nothing.
I wanted to buy the Gray one but it's out of stock. I was hesitant to buy the Pink one because it won't compliment some of my shirts' colors.
I'm scheduled for Physical Therapy session tomorrow and my Vibram is just right for it.  The fit and the feel were great!  I just so love my Vibram!  For more information visit Vibram FiveFingers.

30 Day Bloggie Challenge Day 26

I've been to several places already, mostly beaches in the Philippines, but I really won't forget these places... Basically, because it's my first out of the country trip and the first visa on my passport.  Oh by the way, today's challenge is about a place I've been to. :-)
In 2003, I was given the opportunity to be trained in Houston, TX.  The trip was not "all work", we have the weekends in our hands and one of our itineraries is the NASA Space Center.  Other weekends were spent either at our boss' house, Six Flags Astroworld, Kemah Boardwalk or our favorite shopping places.

Taken at the "photo opp" place in Johnson Space Center, Houston, TX

Our bosses were just kind enough to allow us to go outside of Texas and spend the Thanksgiving with our families.  Some of us went to New York, some to Illinois some just stayed in Texas but in a different city... and I spent my Thanksgiving weekend with my cousins in San Francisco, CA.

30 Day Bloggie Challenge Day 25

I don't bring a purse when I go to work.  For me, a purse is something smaller than a bag.  I always bring a bag because I have a lot to bring everyday.  And for today's challenge, I'll show you what's inside my bag...

30 Day Bloggie Challenge Day 22

I've been waiting for this day and now, I don't know why I'm having a hard time to compose my piece.  Maybe because I have so many things to say...  I don't usually hold grudges for long but what happened to me couple of months back was really hard to forget and that person was hard to forgive.  I just hope that the time would come when I can talk about him without feeling mad... I also pray that I could forgive him because as much as possible, ayoko talaga ng nagtatanim ng galit.
Here's a letter to someone who has hurt me recently.  And recently here for me means August of 2010.
Dear Jon Bill B. PeƱaflor (I don't care if you land on this blog mas ok ngang mabasa mo to),
I want you to know that until now, it's still a puzzle for me why you suddenly "disappeared".  I thought you are/we are in love but then for you not to show up in Angel's wedding without any word (not even a single text message) just brought me to a conclusion that you just took advantage of me...
At ang kapal ng mukha mo to send me message pa sa facebook by using my password?!  Much has been said and done pala ha... And you wish me luck pa and that sana lahat ng mangyari sa kin good vibes na?!
You know what, sobrang duwag ka and you don't have b***s!  Coz if you do, hindi mo naman gagawin sa kin to eh, napakaduwag mo talaga!
I also hope and pray na ma-forgive kita kasi until now, I still can't forget what you've done to me... Sobrang sakit non kasi I've been sincere with you all the time na magkasama tayo.  I've been true to you ever since... I've loved you... But what did I get from you?  If ever you come across this blog, sagutin mo sa self mo yang tanong na yan para kasing wala kang binigay sa kin other than heartaches...
Good bye...

Recurring Dream/s

Meron akong recurring dream/s lately.  Few months back, I've been dreaming of either a spiral staircase or just a staircase na lagi ako paakyat then pag nasa taas na ko, titingin ako sa baba tapos matatakot kasi para akong mahuhulog. So many times just recently naman (like kanina), I dreamed naman na I was flying sometimes gliding... Happily.  I texted my best friend Angel and she Googled my recent dream and eto yung sinabi nya:
"Flying free: Freely flying as high or as low as you wish using your arms or feet for direction, often with the ability to do acrobatics in the air is an indication that you feel really good about something in your life. You are likely very proud of an achievement at work or at home, and life is good"
Having read that, natuwa naman ako.  I even assessed myself if I really feel good about something or of my achievement/s... Basically, yes.  I have so many blessings and I know marami pang darating. :-)
And since online na ako, I tried searching what a spiral staircase meant sa dreams and this was what Google gave me:
"To dream that you are walking up a flight of stairs, indicate that you are achieving a higher level of understanding. You are making progress into your spiritual, emotional or material journey. The dream is also analogous to material and thoughts that are coming to the surface. To see a spiral or winding stairs, signify growth and/or rebirth."2
Meron pa kong recurrent dream, and I've been dreaming about this several times in my life. This year, parang hindi lilipas yung isang week or month na hindi ko sya makikita sa dream ko.  I'm riding a vehicle.  Kahit anong vehicle, whether it's a bicycle, motorbike, car, bus, or airplane.  Sometimes ako yung nagdadrive, sometimes ako yung passenger.  Sabi ng mom ko and tita ko, it signifies travel daw but when I searched Google, eto yung sabi nya:
"To dream that you are riding in a vehicle (car, boat, trains, etc.), signifies the level and type of control you have over your life. Alternatively, the dream means that someone is exerting their power over you, depending on who is in the driver's seat."3
"Riding in an airplane, while it makes us feel above it all, is conceptually no different from riding in a bus.  That is to say, you are going somewhere, but someone else is in charge, and you are trapped until you get there."4
Ang nicey ng meanings no? Parang connected pa yung first two dreams.

30 Day Bloggie Challenge Day 21

My 1-year old Canon 400D Digital SLR makes me happy!  It's the first gadget I bought for myself which cost a lot but I never regretted purchasing.  Even if it's an old model, I super love my very first SLR camera!  It already took so much moments and captured hundreds of memories but it never failed me.  One thing I also loved about my baby is tits body color.  Usually, SLRs are color Black but this is in Silver, kaya kahit itabi pa sya sa ibang mejo mataas na model, sya pa rin yung tinitingnan kasi unique ang itsura. :-)

Something that makes me happy...

30 Day Bloggie Challenge Day 20

I manage two blogs.  One is a journal that is the Thought Bubble and the other one is a photoblog Shoot-Happens.
So, why Thought Bubble?  We all know that a thought bubble (in cartoons or comic strips) is the balloon that indicates thoughts.  So, obviously, my blog is for my thoughts, ideas, random blahs and anything that I wish to share. Simple lang di ba? :-)
Before I started "constructing" my photoblog, I was thinking of what to name it.  I want it to be catchy and kinda technical. So, I asked some of my friends to choose between Two Stops Over (which I learned lately na isa pala itong show about photography), Focal Point, One Shot Back and another one na I can't remember.  My best friend Angel suggested "As I See It" kaya lang, she told me na pag yun ang title ko, pwede rin sya essay-type ng blog.  Yung isa kong friend chose Focal Point. Then,
The guy behind the name Shoot-Happens
I waited pa for other suggestions tapos, yung last suggestion, which is yung Shoot-Happens nga eh parang isang araw pinag-isipan.  Hehe, kasi naman nagtext ako today, the following day na sinuggest sa kin yung title.  Syempre I asked Angel kung ok ba yung title, sabi nya "Cute rin".  So, yun Shoot-Happens it is.  Kasi di ba sometimes when we don't want to say the S word we say "shoot" instead tapos when you take pictures naman you "shoot"  then parang when "shoot happens, may photos na mapoproduce" parang ganon.  Hehe.  Kudos to Michael Miranda, sya nag-suggest ng blog title na yan :-)

Avee's Day Out... Again

My foot looks kinda normal already!
Yesterday (Thursday), I started my day right by attending our worship service; my third time to attend since my operation.  I was so happy because I can go up and down the stairs with my crutches. Yahoo!
After the service, we went home to have breakfast and for me to prepare since my BFF Keat will be picking me up to accompany me to Asian Hospital. Keat was a little early for our agreed time but it's ok lang coz at least mauuna kami sa line sa hospital and para hindi crowded sa elevator. Good thing though, I don't have to be on the wheelchair kasi mejo sanay na sa crutches kaya we don't have to rush sa elevator at makipagsiksikan.  Surprisingly, wala halos tao sa hospital, nice di ba?! No crowded elevators and fast lang ako na-Xray. After the Xray, we went na to my doctor's clinic.  Dito kami nagtagal kasi marami rami ang patients ng aking gwapong Dr.  One patient even lasted for 30 minutes kasi I think mejo complicated ang kanyang case.  When it was my turn, eh di binigay ko na kay doc ang Xray and... One of my prayers kanina was answered because the doctor said that my fracture was closed na and he required me to walk with just a cane!
Our heavenly cheesecakes!
My aircast is gone na tapos, extended ang leave ko for two more weeks kasi I have to undergo six PT sessions. Actually, good and bad news yon for me.  Good because it means that ok yung progress ko; bad kasi di na kami magkikita ni doc.  Hehe... Mga third quarter of next year na kami magkikita pag ooperahan na yung left foot ko.

Anyhow, after sa hospital, we went to Festival Mall para daanan si Ann then straight to Sta. Rosa for my gown fitting. Bridesmaid kasi ako sa wedding ni Ann so there.  Keat was so kind at talagang pumayag sya samahan ako sa Sta. Rosa, in fairness wala pa syang tulog pero talagang dinrive nya ko.  Ayun, we went pa sa house nila Ann to pick up my bestie, Angel tapos to the modista na then we had our late lunch sa Poquito Mas. Asar
Me, Keat & Ruby / Me & Ann
lang! Dinner pa daw sila magoopen.  Hay, buti na lang I liked the Burrito I ordered... Plus their uber sarap na cheesecakes!  I had Oreo, Keat had Blueberry, Ann and Angel had Caramel... All of them were oh so good!  Heaven talaga!  Angel even took a photo of it.... Di ko tuloy na-document itong paglalakwatsa ko on crutches :-D Before kami maghiwahiwalay, pinicture-an pa kami ulit ni Angel. Me, Keat and Keat's new baby Ruby the Red Accord :-)

30 Day Bloggie Challenge Day 19

This is me after my mala-workout na pagshoshopping.  Pagdating sa house, I took a photo agad of myself with my dog Sacci :-)
Naglambing agad si Sacci pagdating ko :)

Avee's Day Out

From top, L-R: My casuals, Mom's goodies, my dresses :)
Okeeeiii... So, after staying sa house for a month and a half, nakalabas din sa wakas!!! And, not just sa labas ng bahay, not even papunta sa church kundi sa mall!!! Hehe.  In fairness, wala kaming ride ng mom ko and nag-commute lang going to SM Bicutan.  Keribels na coz one trike lang naman from our house.  Kaso, may stop over pa sa bank tapos kinakabahan pa ko kasi since over the counter yung transaction, the branch has to verify pa with the branch where I opened the account. Ang nakakainis don was, after waiting for like 30 minutes, sinabi ng teller na kaya daw natagalan kasi less than 20K yung winiwithdraw ko tapos they have to charge me 100 bucks pa. Asar much! Oh, and by the way, ngayon lang ulit ako nag-shopping galore after two years of depriving myself no!
My free Tote Bag from Paper Dolls
Although it was really stressful for me, kasi aside from ang bilis maglakad ni mama & ng brother ko, we have to pass by the delivery garage for the elevator, eh sulit din naman.  Feeling ko nag-workout ako for 12 hours!  Sumakit ang arms at sides ko ha... Sa mga di nakakaalam, nakasaklay po ako ngayon maglakad, so there...  Pagdating sa mall proper, my brother has to go to Onesimus to buy barong. First stop: Shoes Section! Syempre, matagal ko ng gusto magkaron ng white Chuck Taylor's (mababaw lang ako), so yun yung binili ko plus two pairs of ankle socks to match with it :-)  Ininterview pa ko ni kuya na nagaassist then after ko magbayad, I asked where the elevator is kasi ayoko mabulok sa section na yon.  Second stop:  Ladies' Wear.  I texted mom na nagsusukat ako ng dress at talaga namang I bought two dresses! Hahaha... Ayun, nagsukat din si mom and I paid for her dress na lang--gift ko sa kanya :-) After paying, gulat ako coz I got a free tote bag pa kasi more than 2K daw yung napamili ko.
Our sumptuous meal!
And since it's already lunch time, san pa ba ako magyayaya kundi sa one of my favorite Italian places here sa Better Living--Gotti's Ristorante! Hay my favorite part of the day ang lumamon (lumamon talaga!).  I ordered The Godfather Pizza (pepperoni, ham, onions, green bell pepper & black olives), Chicken Parmigiana with Pasta, and bottomless Iced Tea.  Mom ordered Pesce al Funghi (fish & mushroom) with Pasta (you guys should try this one, it's really good!).  Ayun, since si mom had to go to ACE Hardware, naiwan ako sa Gotti's for... Dessert!  I ordered, my favorite Chocolate & Mint Gelato Cake.  HEAVEN amfotah!!!  Grabe ang sarrraaappp talaga nitong dessert na to! Hoo! I was waiting pa nga for mom na dumating para ipa-taste sa kanya yung dessert kaya lang pagdating na pagdating nya, kakakain ko lang ng last subo. Hehe...
So yon, after ng paglamon, di pa pala don natatapos ang pagsho-shopping. So, pumasok ako at ayun, may nakitang nicey top and a pair of short pants. Hay, eto, pagdating sa house, grabe kawawa ang foot ko when I saw it after removing my aircast :-(

30 Day Bloggie Challenge Day 14

From: showbiznest.blogspot.com
I have become a couch potato since my medical leave and I'm addicted to tons of TV shows right now.  There's Jon & Kate plus 8, Table for 12, Adventures of Detective Conan, Ugly Betty 4, Doraemon, David Rocco's Dolce Vita and the list goes on and on and on... However, I've a special liking to GMA 7's two month old series Bantatay.  I know my friends can imagine the little voice I'm making while saying "Bantatay". Awww...  I so love this series because I love kids and dogs and this show includes a lot of kids and dogs in the cast.  And I guess having a dog as the main character was a first in Philippine TV.

Who would not fall in love with Charlie aka Bantay? Awww...

30 Day Bloggie Challenge Day 13

Super challenging ang topic today ha.  Kasi when it comes to musicians, I don't have a particular favorite.  Parang food lang.  Kasi yung music that I listen to depends on my mood. Sabihin ko na lang sila lahat and yung reason why I like them? Because they're the best in their field and they make good music.

30 Day Bloggie Challenge Day 11

I don't usually wear make-up because I get allergies and I'm glad because I'm not the type who would spend so much on lipsticks, blushers or eye shadows... Most of the time, the contents of my make-up kit  were gifts from my friends, aunts and cousins.  That's why when I saw what's for today's challenge, I just thought of what I usually put on when occasion calls for... Or when I just feel like putting on make-up.
My make-up kit has these essentials (L-R from the top): MAC Sugarshot & Knight eye shadows, Mary Kay Shy Blush blusher, hair pins, eye shadow applicator, Mary Kay tinted moisturizer in Beige, Clinique lipstick in Nude Pink, Mary Kay Cream & Sugar lip gloss and MAC lip gelee in Slick Pink.  And just an FYI, I sell Mary Kay products (plugging lang). :-)

30 Day Bloggie Challenge Day 10

When I saw what's for Day 10, napagisip ako ng malalim at napa-sigh ng bonggang bongga.  Because naman, "a photo of your favorite place to eat" eh dahil ako ay isang foodie & I love Italian food, napakarami kong favorite (Italian) restaurants!  And dahil blog ko naman to, ako pa rin ang masusunod so walang pakialaman kung apat ang ilagay ko dito. Hehe :-D However, as much as I wanted na ako ang kukuha ng pictures nila, eh hindi ko magagawa so I got the photos from the internet.  Thank you sa mga may-ari ng photos, I placed the web address (as caption of the photos) where I got the pics because I might be sued for copyright chuchu. :-)

This is alphabetically arranged because walang lamang sa kanila sa pagka-love ko sa kanila, lahat sila favorite ko...

1)  Don Henrico's (aka Don Hen) - I don't care which branch as long as it's Don Hen.  Kaya lang I felt bad when they closed their branch sa Makati.  Good thing they opened sa Mall of Asia which is super near sa kin.  Anyway, sa food naman wala akong masabi. Sooobraaanggg WOW!  Here's a list of my faves: Appetizers:  Dip & Nachos, Mozzarella Sticks, Chicken Finger Salad & Caesar Salad.  Then, their pizza of course:  Don Henrico's Supreme Pizza, Seafood Romano Pizza & Ultimate Pepperoni Pizza; sa panizza nila or yung calzone I love their Beef Calzone. Then, their Pasta: Tutto de Mare, Pacific Rim Seafood Pasta, X.O. Seafood Pasta ( I just can't remember which one has the black sauce among these seafood pastas pero that is super sarap talaga!), Chicken Al Pesto, Spaghetti Al Pesto, Meat Lasagna & Spaghetti Meatballs!  And sa main entree nila: Fish & Chips and of course who would not love their Buffalo Wings (Chicken minsan pag wala ng wings)?!  Talaga naman, my dining at Don Hen would not be complete without the Buffalo Wings!  First resto ko pa lang and I'm already starving :-D

2)  Fazoli's - What I don't like about Fazoli's is that they only have one dine-in restaurant here in Manila.  It's in Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City which is sooo far from my place kaya naman, whenever I go to Eastwood, I always make sure that we eat at Fazoli's.  What's good about this resto naman is that (for me) it's like the traditional Italian restos I see on TV!  Very cozy (upstairs) and good for family gatherings or dinner with friends (downstairs).  Parang kulang na lang yung very long table tapos yung mga taong nagsasalita ng Italian.  Hehe. Ganun yung feel ko sa Fazoli's.  Of course, ang food ay talaga naman!  Swak not only sa taste buds ko but also sa wallet ko.  The idea of Fazoli's kasi is fast Italian food kaya ang tag line nila is fast.fresh.Italian.  O di ba, it's like McDonald's (because of their cheap prices) that serves Italian food.  From their pizza, pasta and sandwiches, not to mention their unlimited (super delicious) garlic bread... Talagang I eat them with gusto!  I just hope they open near my place like Makati or Mall of Asia.

3)  Gotti's - I fell in love with this resto the first time I ate here.  I was with mom sa SM Bicutan when we got hungry.  Eh I love Italian food nga so sa Gotti's ko sya niyaya.  Ang funny coz yung location ng Gotti's was yung dating location ng favorite Italian place ko dito sa ParaƱaque before, yung Pizzeria Pronto.  I was thinking tuloy if one owner lang sila.  Anyway, very cozy kasi sa Gotti's.  Small place lang which I like kasi hindi maingay plus they play good music.  Another thing is that the food is great! Their Margherita pizza and yung Mozzarella and Basil pizza are really good!  Their Fettuccini Alfredo, Pasta Pomodoro and their Pasta al Pesto are great as well. And syempre, their food is very affordable!  If I am to give this resto a tag line it would be: "Who says you can't eat cheap & great Italian food?!"

4)  Joey Pepperoni - Few words... Eat all you can Pasta for only PhP150 and 50% off on their Pizza from 2pm-6pm!  Who would not love that?! When I first ate here, it reminded me of our favorite pizza & pasta place when we were in Houston, TX--Cici's Pizza because of their promo nga. I love their branch there because it's near my office yung tipong when I crave for Italian food sa lunchtime, bababa lang ako, lakad konti tapos yun na!  And the place is very neat and cozy and quiet... Their food talagang masarap especially their dessert!  Sana ibalik nila yung store sa Salcedo.

30 Day Bloggie Challenge Day 9

For today's challenge, we have to upload a photo of the item we last purchased.  And since I'm not allowed to go out (not even go to the mall nearest our subdivision), the item that I can only purchase is junk food (na pinabibili ko kay mom pag pumupunta sya sa SM).  Syempre ubos na yung mga junk food na yon so, yung last, not edible thing na pinurchase ko was my crutches.  Although hindi naman ako ang physically pumunta sa store (si papa yung bumili for me), I paid for it.  All I can say about Trusty my aluminum crutches is that it's very "trusty" (kaya nga yun ang name nya eh) kasi it's sturdy and it's been with me since after my operation... and it'll be my friend until I can live without it, which is three months from now pa.
Meet "Trusty" my crutches :-)

30 Day Bloggie Challenge Day 8

Nahirapan ako dito sa Day 8 I swear! Because I can't think of a song to match my mood kanina pa... I was thinking Hey Jealousy by Gin Blossoms kasi mejo stressed ako today & malapit na ang concert ng Gin Blossoms. I changed my mind kasi, parang wala, ayoko lang... So I was thinking Friday I'm In Love by The Cure. Inisip ko, Saturday naman ngayon bakit Friday I'm In Love?! Wala lang, gusto ko lang eh... And, I'm wearing Red today, hehe, maja-justify na ba ng reason na yon? Hehe. Tapos, tapos, tapos... Something good happened to me today! I won the FB Photo Contest (teary-eyed ako when I learned na ako yung winner, first photo contest ko ata to na ako ang kumuha ng pic)!!! Wooohooo!!! So, naisip ko na saktong sakto na ang Friday I'm In Love na song kasi parang happy yung mood nya kahit mukhang emo yung The Cure. Parang kahit na halos buong week na sad ka or wala sa mood, may one day talaga that would make you forget na bad trip ka :-)

Also, here's the FB Photo Contest Fan Page screenshot... Share ko lang :-)
